The Maple Ridge Lapidary Club is a very active club in the lower mainland of British Columbia. They’ve been around since 1958 and continue to be a vibrant, social club dedicated to the various arts that involve rocks, minerals, and gems. More so than other rock clubs, this lapidary club has a focused passion for these artistic hobbies and passions.
Maple Ridge Lapidary Club offers myriad classes for all kinds of lapidary skills. Ones that is particularly novel are the carving workshops. They host an annual Rock and Gem Show as well as participating in others in the province. And if all this makes you hungry, their weekly summer BBQs are sure to put a smile on your face.
